welcome to the southern cold, and the winter weather that shuts down whole towns and cities at the first glimpse of 30. and this could possibly be the most precipitation we’ve gotten in 10+ months, which is fine and a relief.
as for water conservation, i woke up to the sight of cold-weather bad-insulation condensation on my window. i thought it was ice. but it was cute, either way.
in other winter news, o wanted me to mention that today, on martin luther king, jr. day, wheel of fortune is giving away a weekend getaway to the whiteface lodge. it harks back to the days when prominent new england families would take a winter escape to the adirondacks to hobnob with other, equally prominent families. ah, the good old times.
i’ll stick to what i know.
there has been condensation on all of our windows since late november, give or take one or two days. seriously. it’s ridiculous.
wow. i can’t wait to see it!
