this is the most depressing pair of work boots i’ve ever seen. it’s in the middle of an abandoned parking lot next to an abandoned building i walk past on my way from work to the bus stop every day. the boots have been there for a couple of weeks.
the boots depress me for the following reasons:
- they’re abandoned
- they’re in the middle of a crappy abandoned parking lot filled with shards of glass
- the raindrops on them resemble actual tears
- they’re missing laces
- they’ve got the world’s weirdest wear pattern on the soles
possible ways the person who formerly owned (or currently owns?) these boots could’ve worn out the soles in such a strange way:
- stopping a car flinstones-style
- log roll mishap
- phenomenally huge ass
- moonwalk mishap
- sliding down the steep roof of a building (possibly the abandoned one?) with sandpapery roof tiles
Got me.
I like your thought patterns, missy. speculations #3, the both of them!
flintstones, all the way…
all of you are right in every way (including non-boots-related ways)
