here is a note on food i eat: i am only comfortable cooking vegetables. i am a nervous wreck trying to cook anything that was once alive. the other day, i completely obliterated some sole fillets under the broiler. it was embarrassing. the worst part is that i love eating fish, but i’m so uncomfortable cooking it that i pretty much refuse to, so i just let/make osiris cook any sort of protein, excepting tofu. this annoys him greatly.
o is going out of town with his mom this weekend, so i will be cooking for myself. and unless i am feeling adventurous, i will probably just eat vegan all weekend. so none of this deliciousness:
and instead will just eat awkward stir fry or frozen trader joe’s rice dishes. so that is some insight into my nutrition.

Also, your protein cooking anxiety is both ridiculous and endearing because you still cook tofu.
Cooking tofu is a PAIN IN THE ASS. I just outright stopped trying.
man, i think the difference is that underdone tofu can’t kill you. it just tastes funny, which isn’t really that bad at all. plus, my range of tofu preparation is pretty limited anyway.
i do love pretty much all of trader joe’s gnocchi products. i don’t know why they’re the best crap ever.
